Yes.. the rumors are true. We are hosting a Reverse Coed Volleyball tournament on May 14th (Saturday). Please try to make it out for this fun-filled, sport-acular event! It’ll be LOTS of fun!

Hey everyone! Hope all of you had a wonderful weekend. Just a little update on the website. As you can tell, things look different.. VERY different! We’ve switched to a whole new engine powering the website - in fact DSTSGurls.com is now modeled after a blogging engine rather than a forums style engine.
What are the consequences?
Well for one thing - the old forums are gone. Sorry, but there was no easy way to migrate threads from the old forums into the new one. However, what you do get is a very powerful blogging engine in the form of WordPress (http://www.wordpress.org). WordPress is extremely flexible in how one can write posts and pages. It’s also a cinch to make comments on existing posts/pages. Finally, there’s less for us to worry about being spammed. Everyone on the team will get an account on DSTSGurls.com so you’ll be able to blog away all you like.
Some other downsides - there are no more calendars. Sorry - they haven’t made one yet for WordPress that looks nice but I’ll keep on looking. If you are used to reading threads based on which one is most active, you won’t be accustomed to how WordPress works. However, it’s still fairly easy to keep track of everything via the Categories. Another thing that is now missing - Polls. I’ll keep looking for a Poll mod for the site.
The Gallery is still there and you can access it at http://gallery.dstsgurls.com.
I hope all of you enjoy the new engine. It simplifies the website and hopefully the site is more pleasing to the eye now. As always, please do not hesitate to drop me a line to make suggestions.
